Dr. D. T. JordanDr. Dempsey Truman Jordan (1880-1972) One of Cochran County's earliest physicians. Dr. Jordan opened his first office in 1931 inside the Cochran County Court House. He would later relocate his office to Taylor's Drug Store before opening his own 2 bed clinic. Between 1931 & 1941 Dr. Jordan delivered an estimated 1,000 babies in four counties, most of which were home births.
